Privacy notice
Last updated: 27 September 2026
Quiet Form Media Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17478316.
This notice covers Quiet Form Media Ltd, its websites, projects and trading names, including Quiet Form Labs, as well as Anchor, beta access, purchases, licensing, support and diagnostics. Quiet Form Media Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described here.
Information you give us
If you contact us, request support, join a beta, purchase a product or send feedback, we may receive your name, email address, message, attachments and any other information you choose to provide.
Anchor feedback and diagnostics
Anchor does not automatically send us analytics, usage information, file information or telemetry. If you choose to send feedback, you may optionally include technical information such as macOS and Anchor versions, network details, server and share names, SMB usernames, mount paths and recent diagnostic logs. You can review and edit this information before sending it. Passwords and Keychain secrets are not logged or included.
Licensing and activation
Licence activation or validation may involve a licence or activation identifier, device identifier, licence status, product or benefit identifiers, activation counts and related timestamps. We use this information to provide and administer licences, enforce activation limits and prevent misuse.
Purchases and Polar
Anchor purchases are processed by Polar Software, Inc., acting as Merchant of Record. Polar processes payments, taxes and receipts under its own terms and privacy policy. Quiet Form Media Ltd does not receive or store full payment-card details.
We can access customer and transaction information Polar makes available through its merchant portal and services. Depending on the purchase and information supplied, this may include names, email addresses, billing details, country, business or tax information, customer and transaction identifiers, products, licences, benefits or seats, order amounts, currency, discounts, taxes, dates, and payment, subscription, refund or cancellation status.
We use this information where reasonably necessary to provide and administer products, licences and support, maintain business records, handle refunds or disputes, prevent misuse, and comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Websites and restricted access
Our website and infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request timestamps, requested pages or files, and security or performance logs. For invitation-only beta or preview access, we and our access provider may also process the invited or entered email address, authentication status, login timestamps and related access-control records.
Service providers and international processing
We may use providers for payments, licensing, website hosting, security, email, software updates and other technical infrastructure. We share only information reasonably necessary for those services. Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom; where required, we rely on an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism or safeguards.
Lawful bases and retention
Depending on the context, we process information to perform a contract, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing our work, comply with legal obligations, or where you have given consent. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose and any legal, accounting, support, security or dispute-resolution requirements.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or receive certain information in a portable format. In the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@quietformmedia.com. We may update this notice when our projects, services, providers or legal requirements change; the current version will appear here with its effective date.
